About Me
Hello World! My name is Zhiming Xu (In its originality, 许致明). I’m a second-year PhD [a brief why] graduate student at University of Virginia. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from Department of Computer Science, Nanjing University in 2020.
Previously, I spent a wonderful semester studying at UC Berkeley in spring 2019. I also interned at Amazon, Beijing in summer 2019, and Tencent Games, Shenzhen in summer 2020. I was a research assistant at HKPolyU from fall 2020 to summer 2021.
I was born in Xiangyang (襄阳, literally the north side of the Xiang (Han) River), a beautiful city lying by the Han River in central part of China and lived there for most of the time before graduating from Xiangyang No.5 High School and went to college in 2016. I love travel, hiking and photography during my free time. You can see my photos in Album.
